Rick is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry. Skilled in negotiations, sales, sales operations, sales management, and team building, Rick brings a strong business development skillset to Chainlogix and the CEO role.

Rick has successfully led the company and team through its tremendous growth. Prior to founding Chainlogix, Rick worked in sales, management, and engineering roles at Alcatel Lucent, Future Electronics, Avnet, and Arrow Electronics. He received his B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Old Dominion University and his MBA in Business Management from Averett University.

Rick has been very fortunate to participate in many endurance sports events over the past decade, including iconic events like the Ironman World Championship and Boston Marathon. Personally, Rick loves endurance sports for his physical health and mental focus. Professionally, it taught him patience and the importance of focusing on short-term challenges and setting long-term goals.

When Rick started Chainlogix, he approached it as he would a long race. He strived for sustained controllable growth that the team could build on annually. Digging deep and pushing one another to reach the next level of success is now a huge part of the DNA of Chainlogix!

Jym, our COO, has been in operational leadership roles for Chainlogix since 2009 and has managed all facets of Chainlogix operations since that time – helping to take it from a small enterprise to what is now, a $40 million+ revenue business. He manages systems and processes for Chainlogix, as well as the Acumatica ERP system.

Jym holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. His extensive experience also includes Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Inside Sales Manager, and VP of Operations roles at Trinity Development Group, Future Electronics, and Arrrow Electronics.

Jym is an avid golfer. He equates tournament golf to the operation of Chainlogix. The level and detail and focus needed to shoot a low score is the same intensity needed to run the day-to-day operations.

Ken joined Chainlogix as our CFO in July 2018 and oversees all financial aspects of the company. In 2018, Ken was instrumental in successfully implementing the new ERP system (Acumatica) and developing controls to monitor ERP activity and general ledger balances. Ken is a Certified Public Accountant and has a B.S. in Accounting from Salisbury University. Prior to joining Chainlogix, Ken was a Chief Financial Officer in other industries for 14 years. During eight years in community banking, he managed finance, human resources, and deposit operations.

He was integral in several equity transactions including the sale of Albemarle First Bank and a successful capital raise for Old Dominion National Bank. Ken was also the Chief Financial Officer of a medical software company and worked closely with investment bankers, culminating in the successful sale of the company in 2012.

Ken likes to play golf, fish, cycle, and spend time with friends and family during his free time.

As the Vice President of Sales at Chainlogix, Chad drives growth through identifying and cultivating new opportunities to bring value to our customers. He brings over 10 years of sales and operations experience at Teknetix and Verizon to the team.

Chad has a diverse skill set that includes team leadership, customer service communication, business development, technical sales, and operations. He has a keen ability to assess the pain points our customers want to overcome, and partner with them to resolve these issues and position themselves for growth.

When he’s not on the road, Chad’s passion lies in coaching his son’s youth baseball team. Despite having relocated to the Charlottesville, VA area over six years ago, Chad adamantly refuses to accept local status. In his spare time, Chad is an avid runner, biker, outdoorsman, and golfer.

Alan is our President of Global Sourcing and Asia Operations, managing several functional teams including Sourcing, Purchasing and Planning, and Supplier Quality, as well as our company’s overall foothold in Asia. He has 22 years of experience in global sourcing strategy, supplier quality, and project management. Alan’s professional experience includes strong leadership and communications training while working for large corporations like Intel, GE and Amazon.

He received his B.S. in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing at Hunan University and completed the ISM/USA, CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) Course.

Alan likes hiking to challenge himself, as well as traveling with his family. Alan and his family live in Zhuhai, a coastal city in South China.

Sarah, Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, also heads up our Customer Service Team. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Sarah spent six years in France working on global supply chain solutions for European luxury brands. Her travels and colleagues in France gave her valuable exposure to global manufacturing, logistics, and data management. After receiving her Global MBA from George Washington University, Sarah returned to her native Charlottesville to join Chainlogix. In addition to valuable experience in global supply chain optimization, Sarah brings a dedicated and collaborative spirit to solving problems and enabling growth.

Motivated by her colleagues (and a bit to her surprise) Sarah has become an avid runner while at Chainlogix, in addition to rekindling her love for the game of squash. She loves exploring new things and is always looking for her next adventure!

Francois is our Vice President of Marketing. He has 25 years of experience in marketing, project management, and leadership. Francois grew up in France and received his B.S. in International Business. He started his life in the U.S. when he began his MBA in Marketing at the George Washington University. He is a hands-on team player that spent 20+ years at WorldStrides, an educational travel company, successfully leading large teams (50-100 members) and managing P&L responsibility.

He played rugby for 14 years in France, then recreational soccer during his adulthood in the U.S. Playing team sports has helped him build the skills to embrace and promote team spirit, communication, and collaboration. After a few surgeries, he finally accepted that his body needed a break from contact sports to the great satisfaction of his wife and three daughters; Francois is now enjoying tennis and the stationary bike.

Amanda Moss is an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative with over 10 years of experience. She is a liaison between our customers and the Chainlogix team, assuring open lines of communication and helping customers with their most pressing issues.

She enjoys spontaneous trips to the beach and the mountains. With her growing family, those trips have turned into UTV rides on wooded trails, fox trials with her dogs and husband, or swimming with her daughter.

Amanda’s dedication to her family life transitions to her work life. Being focused on the tasks at hand and multitasking are some of the many skills Amanda brings to the table to ensure our customers receive the utmost attention. Amanda strives every day to make the day better than the one before.

Dave is our Vice President of Strategic Accounts. He has been with Chainlogix since 2009. Prior to that, Dave worked for large distributors and OEMs, gaining extensive training with Display OEMs such as AUO, Samsung, Sharp, LG, TI, and ELO. Dave holds certifications with HP, Intel, TI, and Motorola. He brings several years of engineering, supply chain, and cost reduction expertise to Chainlogix.

Dave’s enthusiasm is embodied in his favorite quote: “A man that finds a job doing what he likes never works a day in his life.” – Confucius. What he loves most about Chainlogix is that he gets to surround himself with people that are like-minded and motivated to be better tomorrow than they were today. Networking with customers, factories, and Chainlogix teammates is his strength and contributes to his lasting and strong partnerships.

Dave attended Auburn University and the University of Maryland and played D-1 and semi-pro baseball. He enjoys working out daily and golfing when time permits. In his free time, Dave operates his own fishing, and hunting guide service covering the East Coast and the Bahamas.

Hank Savedge is our Inventory Control/Warehouse Manager. He brings a well-rounded set of skills to the Chainlogix team, having worked in customer service, sales, and distribution at organizations like Guaranteed Supply Company, Kenseal Construction Products, and Ram Tool & Supply.

Hank graduated from Christopher Newport University and enjoys running and cycling in central Virginia. He is passionate about wellness and embraces it as a lifestyle. Running has long been a part of Hank’s life - from cross country and track in junior high school to Ironman triathlons and ultra-marathons. He loves running so much that he even proposed to his now-wife, Michele, at the end of a long, sweaty trail run. He got down on one knee because he “had a rock in his shoe!”

The discipline and focus of training for endurance events carry over into Hank’s professional life. Hank is a problem solver and never backs away from a challenge. He also believes in positive energy and sharing it with the rest of the team. One of his favorite phrases is “we get to do this.”

Hope really enjoys her role as an Inside Sales Rep at Chainlogix. Providing solutions to our customers is one of the things she loves most about her job. Hope comes from a large family of 8 (she is lucky number 6). Growing up in a large family taught her one of the greatest virtues of all – patience – which, in our business, is essential. Hope’s approach to her role at Chainlogix is summed up by her favorite quote: “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m possible!” -Audrey Hepburn

Hope was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, where her father was a missionary and a private pilot. She is fluent in Spanish and has traveled all over the world, but she considers Mexico home and Atlanta, Georgia, her second home. Hope loves spending time with her husband and their 2 children, cooking authentic Mexican food, and salsa dancing. She received her B.A. from Liberty University.

She volunteers as a volleyball coach on her daughter’s team and during the fall, Hope and her family never miss Sunday Atlanta Falcons games. Hope’s son aspires to be in the NFL when he gets older.

Kirby is our Accounts Receivable/Staff Accountant. Prior to joining the Chainlogix team, she worked at a preschool where she gained vast knowledge about the unpredictability of children. This role taught her how to be flexible, patient, and adaptable. She never expected it to translate so well into her role at a supply chain organization!

Kirby is currently attending Old Dominion University for her degree in accounting and hopes to obtain a CPA license.

In her spare time, Kirby enjoys kayaking and long hikes. Just like each trail and river has its own distinctive qualities, so does each Chainlogix customer.

Lisa serves as our Accounts Payable/Executive Assistant. She works closely with the finance team and vendors to ensure that the payables department runs smoothly. She also offers administrative support to the executive team.

Lisa has lived in or around the area her entire life and loves long walks across the many trails and in parks in the surrounding counties.

Shelly Alston, is the newest member of the Chainlogix Customer Service Team. After graduating from Eastern New Mexico University, Shelly moved to Nashville, TN, and taught kindergarten and 2nd grade before transitioning into the business world. She brings with her 20 years of customer service experience to Chainlogix. Shelly believes one of the most important aspects in her role as a CSR is developing and maintaining relationships with clients.

Shelly enjoys spending time with her husband, a former football and wrestling coach, who now serves as a local area representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. They both serve in their church together, as well. In her spare time, Shelly enjoys reading, cooking, and crafting. You will find her and her husband visiting local coffee shops anytime they are out and about or traveling.

Aster works as a buyer in the Purchasing and Planning team. She has 10+ years of rich experience in manufacturing, systemic maintenance like Oracle and our company Cloud ERP Acumatica, as well as logistics management.

Ever since she saw Michael Jordan dunk on TV as a child, she has been a huge basketball fan. She played basketball in both high school and college. She also likes badminton and organizes badminton for our office. Playing team sports has helped her build communication skills and taught her the importance of positive energy and team spirit in the workplace.

Dannis is our Supplier Quality Manager and our newest team member in our Hong Kong office. Dannis leads Chainlogix's global suppliers’ quality system management and works as a key member of the NPI team (from sample build to PPR and mass production). He brings 15+ years of work experience in factory quality engineering – ten of these working for Avaya Communication Ltd. He also is a qualified ISO auditor.

Jacky is our Senior Sourcing Manager, leading the efforts for our E&E products allocated to South China. He has 20 years of experience working in sourcing and quality management, global supply chain and process quality control, as well as project management. He has worked at LITE-ON, Fujitsu-Siemens, Intertek, Coloplast, and Flex.

Jacky loves traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter. His family lives in Zhuhai, a beautiful city close to Hong Kong.

A member of our Finance team in China, Lingling worked at TE and ElectroCraft in China for more than 10 years before joining Chainlogix. She has experience in customer service, purchasing, and planning.

Lingling loves a good challenge! She played table tennis in high school and currently enjoys hiking and cycling on the weekends.

Robert has been with Chainlogix since 2018 and is a member of our Sourcing team. He manages mechanical sourcing for us, overseeing everything from initial customer designs and concepts to manufacturer collaboration, DFM, and project launch. His 10+ years of experience in the plastic and automotive industries help him identify risks and opportunities for our customers.

Robert enjoys hiking and cycling with his family on the weekends.

Sammie is the Senior Buyer of our Purchasing and Planning team. She has 12+ years of experience in electronics and plastic purchasing. She manages our robust company planning operations and sets our strategy for inventory level control in support of our customers’ Kanban and VMI operations.

She enjoys singing and spending time with family and colleagues. Sammie, Nelson (her husband), and Xiaoyi (her five-year-old son) live in Zhuhai, China.
